The Munster Centre
The Munster Centre area covers the Lower Counties of the Island of Ireland.
This web page is primarily to outline the benefits of using your Caravan, Campervan or Motorhome and to promote the Munster Centre as an integral part of the Irish Division and the Caravan and Motorhome Club.
Pursue your interest in caravanning and spend time with other members at your local Centre.
Each Centre regularly organises rallies in interesting and popular locations as part of the Club’s ethos of supporting the social and fun aspects of caravanning and Motorhoming.
There are 69 Centres in the UK and Ireland.
Each aims to provide local benefits to members living within a particular area, including organising fun rallies for local members.
Centres are run by voluntary committee members, who are elected at the Annual General Meetings (AGMs). To attend and vote at a Centre AGM, Club members must be a current registered member of that Centre.

SUMMER RALLY
Following on from the uplift with the good weather I’m delighted to inform all of our members that our 2021 socially distanced rally will proceed as advertised on Killarney racecourse from 23rd July to Aug 2nd.
I know that interest for this is very high and there will be disappointed members no matter how we go about it! So as with previous years, preference will be offered to people staying for the full duration and Munster members will of course be given the best views (reserved!)
We are hoping to be able to meet up with all and would remind you of the weather we enjoyed at our 2019 National rally in April!!

Following recent Government advice about social distancing the Munster Centre of the Caravan and Motorhome Club have taken the decision to suspend all Rallies, Meetings and gatherings until further notice.

FROM THE HEAD OF INSURANCE
We have managed to negotiate a 10% discount on car and home insurance from Aviva (Ireland) for members living in the Republic of Ireland.
I believe caravan cover in the Republic of Ireland is only available from Aviva if one of these products is purchased, so hopefully this will be of help in that respect as well.
If there is sufficient uptake of the car and home products we hope to be able to work with Aviva to explore further deals on products and services for our Irish members.
